In a bid to provide a streamlined and efficient payment medium to metro users, the Go Smart ‘One Nation – One Card’ has now been launched for Kanpur Metro. These cards have become a convenient and popular payment option for commuters utilizing rapid transit systems and public transport services across major cities in India, including Delhi and Mumbai.
With the help of these cards, a person is no longer required to purchase metro tickets daily. The cards also provide a waiver on the overall recharge amount.
Apply online with a charge of ₹100 to obtain the NCMC card

Apart from its usability in the rapid transit system of the Kanpur city, the NCMC cards can also be used as debit/credit cards and the users will be able to acquire it from most of the banks of the city. A 10% discount will be given on travel with the NCMC cards.
To obtain the NCMC card, users need to pay a ₹100 application fee through the online application form. Once the card is obtained, users can recharge it through the online portal and other affiliated merchants.
What are the additional features of the card?
The NCMC card will enable users to access travel and payment services for other public transportation modes as well. 23 banks are currently providing NCMC cards to their customers.
In addition, the service is being made available to the users through a PPP model in alliance with the State Bank of India. Owing to this, these cards will also be linked to the RuPay model, and will also be utilizable as debit/credit cards.
