Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur is all set to conduct Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023, beginning Saturday, Feb 4. The dates for the test are 4th Feb, 5th Feb, 11th Feb and 12th Feb. Those appearing for GATE 2023 can download and print their admit card from gate.iitk.ac.in as it is mandatory for candidates to bring a print out of the same, as per the instructions by IIT Kanpur.

Those appearing for GATE 2023 must report at the examination center at least an hour and a half prior to the commencement of the test.

Candidates must bring an original and valid photo ID along with a print out of their admit card, which should be printed in color on A4 size paper.

Candidates will be allowed to sit for the exam only after the center officials have verified their credentials.

The exam center will provide a scribble pad to each candidate. This must be returned to the invigilator at the end of the examination.

Candidates are not allowed to bring anything other than their water bottle (transparent), hand sanitizer (pocket-sized) and their pen and/or pencil. Strict and immediate action will be taken against candidates carrying prohibited items of any kind like ornaments, charts, books, etc.

No electronic devices such as personal calculators are allowed. A scientific calculator will be displayed on the candidate’s screen to assist them with calculations.
