Moving towards the path of innovation, IIT Kanpur’s Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIIC) has signed a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Agreement with Advanced Weapons and Equipment India Limited (AW&EIL). This partnership aims to provide financial support to the ever-dynamic start-up ecosystem in India, and to foster budding entrepreneurs with new technology and knowledge.
The agreement was signed at the Ordnance Factory, Kanpur, in presence of notable dignitaries from SIIC, IIT Kanpur and and AW&EIL.

The comprehensive financial partnership between IIT Kanpur’s SIIC and AW&EIL under the CSR Policy, aims at stimulating growth of potential startups that prioritise innovations and are economically viable. Further, resources of both organisations will be utilised to nurture startups focused on cutting-edge technology.
