Improved & upgraded, modern Police Hospital inaugurated in Kanpur on Sunday

Amplifying the healthcare infrastructure in the city, the upgraded version of the police hospital was launched in Kanpur on Sunday. As per reports, the Uttar Pradesh Director General of Police inaugurated the facility, which will cater to a large count of patients. Reportedly, the hospital has been ameliorated with the attempts of the VAMASARTHI Kanpur Chapter, an institution run by the wives of police officers.

Isolation wards, oxygen beds & concentrators available at the centre

During the second wave of the pandemic, the L-1 medical centre extended aid and assistance to the police officials. Now, the hospital has been overhauled in view of the anticipated third wave and a string of advanced amenities have been added. As per reports, the hospital encapsulates isolation wards and beds equipped with oxygen resources. Additionally, reports state that some beds also have oxygen concentrators in a bid to deal with critical patients.

Reportedly, a senior official from the hospital informed that a trained group of doctors ensure comprehensive care and treatment for the patients. Further, the home quarantined individuals are also helped through the teleconsultation facility. As per reports, the hospital has been upgraded with the help of Muthoot Finance, under its Corporate Social Responsibility scheme.

A move to help police personnel and their family members
