As the Maha Kumbh 2025 approaches, the Indian Railways has completed preparations to accommodate the massive influx of devotees travelling from Kanpur to Prayagraj. A total of 114 trains, including 44 pairs of MEMUs and 50 additional coaches, will be operated to cater up to 1.25 lakh devotees daily.

Special arrangements have been made at Govindpuri, Panki Dham, and Anwarganj stations to handle the surge, with security measures in place to ensure safety. Devotees travelling from nearby regions like Tundla, Agra, and Banda will be well accommodated, with additional services and facilities.

In addition, 21 Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVMs) will be installed at major stations, offering easy access to tickets. To cater to the needs of devotees, special food stalls, executive lounges, and facilities for the elderly and disabled will also be provided.

The railway is fully prepared to manage the crowd and ensure a smooth and memorable experience for all during this grand spiritual event.
