Lucknow's City Montessori School (CMS), one of the city's leading private institutions, inaugurated its annual International Children's Film Festival (ICFF) today, at its Kanpur Road campus. Known for celebrating global cinema for young audiences, the week-long festival promises an expansive lineup this year, with 400 films from 102 countries set to be screened between April 7 and 14, 2025.
The screenings are being held across multiple auditoriums within the campus, offering two time slots daily—9:00 AM and 12:30 PM. Entry is free and open to the public, making it an accessible cultural event for film enthusiasts and children.
The showcased films span diverse genres and formats, including short films, feature films, documentaries, animations, and short animation films, among others. Each day will feature a simultaneous multi-auditorium screening format to accommodate the large number of entries.
In addition to the screenings, ICFF also features a competitive segment, with awards set to be announced at the festival’s conclusion.
