7 places that we can't wait to order from once the lockdown is eased!

Now that there's a possibility of eateries & delivery kitchens to open up, we can't wait to get our hands on delicious grub

The looming Coronavirus threat has truly brought life around us to a complete standstill. With nowhere to go and not much to do, most of us are left to our own devices, dreaming the kind of life we'll have once the pandemic is over. However for a foodie, most of these dreams consist food. It is the one thing we think about the most and the most often, oh how we wish we could make these dreams come true!

A month away from our favourite restaurants and delivery kitchen has made us realise that good food is something we just can't take for granted. However, the exciting news is that the government might consider opening few businesses as the frequency of reported cases are slowing down. So now that there's a real possibility that the government may allow some of our favourite food chains and restaurants to finally open for delivery, here's a list of places we just can't wait to order from!

Known for its unparalleled smoky butter chicken, Camcook will surely be the first restaurant we order from. A large bucket of smokey delicious chicken soaked in creamy broth or with a few buttered up naans and we'll enter the food heaven we've been denied for the past month. they even have a great selection of vegetarian curries, sandwiches and wraps that are just comforting enough to make us forget all about the fatal situation we're in right now.

Flaky, crispy and yet soft on the inside parathas encasing a delicious tangy chutney, crunchy onions, just rightly spiced and grilled chicken or paneer cubes, is an image that can make us drool any time of the day. A roll is a meal that is easy, filling and oh-so-delicious, it is also one of our favourite things to stuff our faces with and what better place to order a classic roll from than Rollarappa. All we want is a chicken kali mirch roll and an iced tea to make it go down smoother.

Tunday kababi

If there's one thing Lucknow wants more than it wants its freedom, it's the iconic Tunday ke kababs. These little bombs of meat and flavour are often all we can think about and want. The day that Tunday Kababi offers its first order, we'll be clicking away hoping to get the delicate meat patties and soft Mughlai parathas we're so familiar with.

Another great place to order from and truly a Mughlai lover's paradise, Nosh by Bowls and Boxes is one of the newest addition to our list of favourites. The kitchen is known for bringing authentic Mughlai flavours to our doorstep packed in dainty boxes and cooked in a hygienic way, words that sound like sweet honey to our ears in the current scenario. We cannot wait to order the keema biryani, the Awadhi biryani, the mutton do pyaza, paneer butter masala or even the sewai.

The Hazelnut Factory

Another one of our all time favourites, The Hazelnut Factory has done wonders to baked goods and we just can't have enough. Be it the red velvet cupcakes, the rainbow pastries, cheese brownies or the classic THF cheesecake, there's nothing we'd rather have after a big meal than the desserts from here. Plus, who can forget their mac and cheese, the delicious sandwiches or the Indian sweets we so adore.

Royal Sky

Royal Sky is classic and one we just can't leave off of the list. Royal Sky has always been or go-to hangout spot but it's not just the booze and the rooftop that has us hooked but the delicious food these folks serve. We would love a taste of the classic chicken kali mirch, the tandoori malai paneer tikka, biryani and most importantly the delicious saucy pastas, sizzlers and Chinese specials. A plate of dried chilli chicken is the best best cure for all the craziness we've been sufferring through.

Tamil Nadu Dosa

We all love "maa ke hath ka dosa" for breakfast, but let's be honest, no matter how much effort we or our mother puts into making the batter, it would never taste anything like the one we have at Tamil Nadu Dosa. And we're not just excited about getting our hands on dosas, but the uttapams, the soft and fluffy idlis or even the deep fried vadas. Tamil Nadu Dosa is ever South Indian food lover's go-to spot and we're hoping we get to eat here soon enough.

Knock Knock

We bet you too are sitting at home thinking about food, well what else is there to do anyway. So keep the list in mind when the lockdown is eased and our favourite places are serving once more! Also if we've missed out on your go-to delivery place, let us know in the comments section. Until then, practice social distancing and be safe because there's food to be eaten and places to be visited.
