Previously, the Aishbagh Eidgah allowed women to offer special prayers during other occasions such as Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Zuha. However, this is the first time that women will also be allowed to offer Tarawih Namaz during the holy month of Ramzan.

The Tarawih namaz is considered to be a highly significant prayer that involves reciting lengthy portions of the Quran and performing several 'Rakahs', (movements performed during Islamic prayer).

In addition, special arrangements have also been made for the women to offer namaz at the Baradari of the Eidgah. A separate gate has been designated women to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience for women attending the prayers.
