The much-awaited Lucknow-Kanpur Vande Bharat Metro train is all set to become operational in the next 3 months. And now, per reports, new Vande Metro trains will connect 4 more cities to Lucknow, alongside Kanpur. These cities will be Gorakhpur, Ayodhya, Prayagraj, and Varanasi and they will be added to the route in a phase-wise manner.

On the Lucknow-Kanpur route, passengers will be charged around ₹500 while the fare for Ayodhya is expected to be around ₹750.

The train will cover the distance between the two cities in 45 minutes, travelling at a speed of 130 km/h.

The fare to Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, and Varanasi will range between ₹900 and ₹1000.

As for the duration, the Vande Metro from Lucknow will take 45 minutes to reach Kanpur, 90 minutes to reach Ayodhya, 115 minutes to get to Prayagraj, 225 minutes for Varanasi, and 210 minutes to reach Gorakhpur.
