Lucknow records highest number of Coronavirus cases in UP for the 5th consecutive day

102 Call Centre has become the biggest hotspot in the city

Lucknow recorded 152 new coronavirus cases on Tuesday, which has taken the tally of active cases to 1591. With these statistics, the city has reported maximum number of cases in Uttar Pradesh for the 5th consecutive day. The total caseload of the city stands at around 2730, which is the third highest in the state after Gautam Buddha Nagar and Ghaziabad.

Lucknow now has the highest number of active Coronavirus cases in Uttar Pradesh

With the relaxations in the lockdown guidelines, the number of cases has been on a steady rise in Lucknow

Lucknow has emerged as the new hotspot of coronavirus cases, surpassing Ghaziabad in the list of most active cases in Uttar Pradesh. On Monday, about 197 people tested positive for coronavirus in the city. With this number, Lucknow has reported highest number of cases for 3 consecutive days in UP. The city tally of active cases now stands at about 1460 cases, followed by Ghaziabad and Gautam Buddha Nagar with 1248 and 872 cases respectively.
