Bars & restaurants to remain open till 11PM in Lucknow; markets to be operational till 10PM

The containment zones in Lucknow, will be excluded from these changes and will remain tightly sealed.

In an effort to revive the sinking economic conditions in Lucknow, the officials have decided to tweak the present rules once again. Earlier this week, it was decided that the weekend lockdown scheme will be entirely done away with so that businesses can operate regularly as before. Now the authorities have determined that bars and restaurants can stay open in Lucknow till 11 PM and markets around the city have been granted permission to be functional till 10 PM.

35,121 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Lucknow

Even though cases are on a steady rise in the city, the officials are placing these regulations to bolster the financial situation of the people who've lost their jobs or are suffering from various business related losses due to this pandemic. Lucknow's confirmed Covid count has surpassed 35,000 and the city has observed 469 deaths till date. But it is to be noted that the containment zones in Lucknow, will be excluded from these changes and will remain tightly sealed to curtail the spread of this contagious virus.

All the public places are being thoroughly sanitised on a daily basis and are being monitored closely to contain the spread of the virus. According to reports released by the Centre- cinemas, colleges, swimming pools and similar public places will remain shut at least till September end.

Knock Knock

Although these establishments are reopening once again, keep in mind that it isn't because the curve is flattening. These are efforts intended to bolster the financial conditions of the state as of now. So as a responsible citizen, please do follow the directives as suggested by the medical professionals. Even if you're stepping out for your essentials, do not forget your masks and sanitizers and maintaining a distance is an absolute compulsion!
