Boosting transparency, LU introduces a unique registration number system for students
In an attempt to boost transparency and convenience, Lucknow University has introduced a unique registration number system for students. Named the Student Registration Number (SRN) system, this new identification will ensure seamless communication between the students and the university while also simplifying the admission process.
Reducing the risk of identity fraud
Using the Student Registration Number (SRN), students will be able to check the status of their application and admission, verify their documents, and use it to pay their fees. Furthermore, this unique number will also make it easy for students to access their academic records.
In addition to that, Lucknow University's SRN will also protect the student's data and significantly reduce the risk of identity fraud. The said number will be allotted to each student after their registration is complete.
