The Athrise Championship 2025 – Lucknow will unfold across two top-tier sporting hubs, each chosen to give young athletes the environment they deserve.
At the 35th Vahini PAC Ground, Mahanagar, participants in Athletics will compete on a professionally maintained track designed to meet global evaluation standards. Meanwhile, the BBD Badminton Academy will host intense badminton matchups under expert supervision, along with dedicated spaces for high-focus chess battles.
Across 72 disciplines and 14 age categories, every athlete aged 4-19 will be evaluated on world-level performance parameters. From sprinting lanes to chessboards, the championship ensures fair, transparent, and competitive testing of skill.

A first-of-its-kind Athletics line-up for Lucknow’s young stars
Kicking off the championship, Athrise has curated one of the most exhaustive children-centric athletics rosters the city has ever seen. From November 28–30, the PAC Ground, Mahanagar, will transform into a buzzing arena where young athletes; right from U-6 to U-18, testing their grit, speed, stamina, and technique across a wide spectrum of events.
Across three full days (8 AM to 6 PM), participants will compete in everything from 50m sprints to 3000m runs, alongside Hurdles, Race Walking, Medley Relays, and classic field events like High Jump, Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put, Javelin Throw and Discus Throw.
With separate categories for boys and girls and a structure that mirrors global evaluation standards, this is the first time Lucknow’s children are getting access to an athletics format this deep, this diverse, and this professionally organised. Badminton & Chess: Battles on Court and Board
From December 12-14, the Athrise Championship shifts to the iconic BBD Badminton Academy in Gomti Nagar, one of North India’s top indoor sports arenas. With seven international-standard courts and seating for up to 5,000 spectators, it sets the perfect stage for three intense days of competition.
For badminton enthusiasts, the format is crisp and competitive. Across Singles and Doubles, boys and girls will battle it out in categories ranging from U-11 to U-19, ensuring every age group gets its moment under the arc lights.
Under the same roof, the championship will also host a full-scale Chess Swiss Format tournament, bringing together young minds from U-7 to U-19. Three days of calculated moves, endgame mastery, and mental endurance will test players just as rigorously as the physical events outdoors.
