If you’re into the independent music scenes in the country, there’s no way that you haven’t heard of The Local Train!
Since its inception in 2008, this band has garnered massive commercial success and has become a staple in cultural and music festivals across the country! Think of a fest and we’re pretty sure that they must’ve covered it. So keeping up with their record of attending popular fests in India, The Local Train coming as a curtain-call for the day 3 of the Repertwahr Festival.

Known for their emphatic lyrics in Hindi-Urdu and catchy tunes, The Local Train’s signature lies in a raw, honest sound which resonates with the youth and how! They will be performing tomorrow at the Repertwahr Festival Season 10, 9 PM onwards and we can imagine the raging crowd, singing in sync! *goosebumps already*
Presently, they have taken us over with hits like Aaoge Tum Kabhi, Aaftaab, Choo Lo and the tickets are all sold out online. But if you really want to catch ‘em live, you can still avail their tickets at Repertwahr’s box office, set up right at the gate of the venue!

If your Saturday schedule allows you to chill a bit more, you could also grab a seat at the theatre act of Bone of Contention, directed by Faezah Jalali! This play has two slots- 3 PM and 7:30 PM so just pick a time of your convenience and head over. This play highlights the farcical and often superficial nature of the religious beliefs of various communities! It’s gonna make you laugh and reflect on certain notions and perspectives and it will be an act worth your time.
