Amity University Lucknow Campus has announced the winners of the Colours of Uttar Pradesh competition. Focusing on talent!
The very successful run of Amity University’s ‘Colours of Uttar Pradesh’ has ‘exposed’ the talent and skill of student photographers across the state. This platform gave a chance to budding photographers to try their hand at visual arts and an overwhelming surge of 300 entries was registered for the competition. Around 75 of these were shortlisted by Ms Arpita Singh, faculty of Amity School of Communication and were presented before the eminent photojournalist, Mr Manoj Chhabra for the final review.
A list of ‘Top 5 Photographers’ was announced by Amity Lucknow and winners were awarded with amazing cash prizes and an opportunity to display their stills at different locations in the city. The university felicitated ₹5,000 to the title winner, ₹3,000 and ₹2000 to the first and second runners up, respectively. A cash prize of ₹1,000 each, were awarded to the two special mentions as well.

Powered by YPay, the event included stakeholders such as Camcook, Bigg Daddy, Imperiumx Francorp, along with Knocksense and Fever FM, which only added marvel and splendour to this online event. Competitions like these open new avenues to gauze the talent and skill among the youth, giving them a chance to put forward their best step, into a future full of possibilities.
