Continuous rainfall, nippy weather disrupts Lucknow's daily routine
What initially seemed like a light morning haze around 7 am turned out to be a sign of unseasonal, continuous rainfall in Lucknow, slowing down life, across the city today. The weather has also led to a noticeable dip in temperatures, with today’s forecast indicating a minimum of 11°C and a maximum of 22°C—around 2–3 degrees lower than usual. This change in weather is being attributed to western disturbances.
Further forecasts suggest cloudy skies with brief spells of sunshine during the day, along with chances of light rain in the evening. While the rainfall is expected to help improve Lucknow’s AQI, the continuing impact of western disturbances may bring back colder conditions and even fog, similar to what is currently being observed in Delhi. The city is also likely to see grey skies and possible rain tomorrow, extending to neighbouring areas as well.
