Def Expo 2020 is ready to win the hearts of Lucknowites with several live demonstrations happening in the city

Defence Expo 2020 begins in Lucknow today and like the rest of us we're sure, your energy is riding high too! One of the biggest events in Lucknow's history, the Defence Expo is not only an event to put Lucknow on the world map but would also become a spectacle for the city to remember for time to come. Though the main event is open to the commoners only on its last two day days, there are still some demonstrations that you can surely be a part of.



With numerous exhibitions, participation from over 1000 companies and around 70 countries, this year's Defence Expo is undoubtedly one of the biggest India has yet seen. The Defence Expo 2020 starts today, i.e. 5th February and would go on until 9th. The expo which is open to business visitors has been closed off to public on its initial 3 days.

However, if you are bubbling over with excitement and can't wait till the 4th day to be a part of the spectacle, there are several live demonstrations and shows which you can still see.

All you need to know about the live demonstrations for public at Gomti Riverfront

On the first day of the expo a live demonstration will be done by the Indian Navy & the Indian Coast Guard between 2:15 pm to 5.30 pm. While on the second, third and fourth day of the expo, February 6th-8th, a display + performance and live demonstration will take place between 11 am to 1pm and 2:15 pm to 5:30 pm, respectively on all three days. However on Def Expo's closing day, 9th February, a display + performance will take place between 11 am and 1 pm.

These demonstrations will take place at different times at the Gomti Riverfront area where civilians can witness the military might in all its glory. So head to the riverfront and sneak a peek into the amazing Defence Expo 2020.

The expo which is currently underway at Vrindavan Yojna in Lucknow, will open to public, free of cost on its last two days, i.e. 8th and 9th of Feb.

These royally-bred horses were gifted to the college by Monish Bhandari and his wife, Priya, members of the college alma mater. The horses arrived at the college grounds on Saturday in a special air-conditioned vehicle from the farm of Mumbai and Ajmer.

Lucknow receives a new cancer hospital under the banner of Smart City project!
