Day 1 - Play: Lal Ded by Mita Vashisht

Get ready to be captivated as Mita Vashisht takes on the role of Lal Ded, the Kashmiri literary figure from the medieval period, in a solo play filled with acting, poetry recitals and music.

With a career spanning over three decades and countless memorable roles in movies, TV shows, and stage plays, Mita Vashisht is a well-respected actress in India's film industry. Now, she is all set to captivate you with her solo performance in Lucknow.

Day 2 - Play: Stand Up With D Girls by Rasika Agashe

Rasika Agashe, an esteemed theatre veteran from India and a National School of Drama alumna, has showcased her talent in plays of various languages throughout her career. Now, presenting her solo show, 'Stand Up With D Girls,' a performance that has already captivated audiences at the legendary Prithvi Theatre in Mumbai, she is poised to bring the extravaganza of drama, music, and poetry to Lucknow as part of the Kabir Festival.

Apart from the two aforementioned mega plays, the entire event is open for everyone and completely free to attend! Throughout the festival, a musical program titled 'Shamein Malang Si' will be hosted daily from 5 to 7 PM, offering a diverse range of performances and events.
