Ekana Titans record successive 3-2 victory against Speed Chargers in Lucknow
Ekana Titans' victory against Speed Chargers at the Adani Lucknow Golf League 2023, has put them at the 2nd place on the Group B Leaderboard. The match was played at Lucknow Golf Club on Sunday.
The first match of the day was an easy 3.5-1.5 win by Shalimar Par Masters against PR x JO - The Royals. Whereas the final match of the day was won by Dabang Daredevils with 4-1 against IPL warriors.
Speed Chargers player Pawan Sagar record the largest singles victory of the day
The Ekana Titans had to maintain composure and use their expertise to win two of the three games that went down to the last hole in a closely contested encounter. Speed Chargers player Pawan Sagar won his match 5–4 to record the largest singles victory of the day. The Fourball pairings for Shalimar Par Masters showed up, and they won all three games to help their team move up the leaderboard and increase its chances of making it to the quarterfinals.
Dabang Daredevils secured the top spot on the scoreboard with a stunning 6&5 victory against IPL Warriors opponents thanks to Indra Dhaon and Dr. Rajat Mathur. Despite suffering an early defeat, they comfortably finished the remaining games.
The league will now resume on February 2.
Teams finished the first two of the five round-robin matches on Sunday thanks to support from The Times Group and their automotive partners Speed Group. As teams work out their plans, the leaderboard is set up for some tight and leveled-up games. The league will now recommence on February 2.
