As 12 officials test positive at the headquarters of Uttar Pradesh's integrated emergency helpline service, UP 112, the Lucknow office will remain shut for the next 48 hours for the purpose of sanitation and contact tracing of the infection. With this complete shutdown, a great impact on the working of the service may be perceived in the Capital and across the state for about 2 days, however, work will continue to roll digitally!

Dial Digital

A fall in the number of call pick ups may be witnessed in the two days as only a back up team from Prayagraj and Ghaziabad would be working on it. However, it may happen that the people are held on call waiting for 4 to 5 minutes. To not let the working efficiency drop, all digital forums and mediums of the UP 112 Lucknow office will be at the service of the citizens. Complaints and queries will be registered, acknowledged and transmitted digitally through the avenues of Whatsapp number, short message service, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and the official Lucknow 112 website.

Knock Knock

A 48 hour shut down of Lucknow 112 helpline has paved way for digital queries in the city. The undefeated spirit of the officers to help the people even as they face the acute pressure on being on the virus radar is a testimony of their courage and commitment. All readers are requested to reach out to the officers in case of emergencies via the alternative digital sources for a quick response and feedback!
