‘Sura Vie by Chef Sanjeev Kapoor’ in Lucknow, is where epicures are fine dining!

Associated with the Master chef ‘Sanjeev Kapoor’ himself, the food that is served at Sura Vie is good enough to satisfy any epicure. The last time we went to the place we tried a plethora of dishes and we have to say all of them were tastefully prepared and made us fall in love with the place more-so.
From all that we tried, the Lalla Musa Dal, Tawa chicken, Murgh Rizala Biryani, Nut crusted chicken and Nimbu mirch tawa fish were dishes that stood out.
The Tawa Chicken is a dish with thick gravy, prepared with the bone; the chicken is tender as can be. The gravy that it is coated with is made dhaba style, with whole spices and robust flavours. The dish is the perfect dish for non-vegetarians who like their food on the spicier end of the spectrum. Pair this with a buttered bread and get ready for a flavour explosion as the succulent chicken hits the right spots on your palate.
Meanwhile, the Chicken Rizala Biryani is a rich, aromatic confluence of flavours that’ll put you right into a well-earned food coma! The biryani is prepared in Hyderabadi style, with boneless pieces and is packed full of browned onions. Cooked on ‘dum’ to release the best taste and flavours, the dried red chillies, dried mango and yogurt are what give the biryani its signature taste!
The Lalla Mussa Dal is another speciality which is a must try at Sura Vie, the dish comes from Sanjeev Kapoor himself and is a signature of the Chef. The dal is simmered on a the traditional tandoor for 12 hours straight and is a one-of-a-kind dish that a well known recipe in Pakistan. The Nimbu Mirch Tawa Fish is a Basa fillet marinated in degi mirch and lemon. Served with a butter aioli, the dish will surprise you with how flaky, fresh and subtle it is.
All in all, we would highly recommend the place for their great north Indian selection. They also have a ton of other dishes and cuisines to try but we could only have so much good food in a day!
Sura Vie is a place where you’ll get chill vibes and a number of sections which will cater to your different needs. They have a fully stocked bar, a rooftop section for those dreamy late night dates with bae and an elegant restaurant setup where you can enjoy a fine dining experience like no other. Plus the food here is pretty tempting!
