Fight against Covid-19: Streets in Lucknow wear a deserted look during the self-imposed curfew!
Amid concerns of community spread of Covid-19, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh announced lockdown in 15 cities, including Lucknow on Sunday.
Fight against Corona reaches its third week. While the people were spontaneous in applauding the men and women involved in essential services, there was an underlying fear of lockdown and curfew. The administration, however, is strictly monitoring the situation and has essential services to remain operational.
Announcing lockdown till 25th March, the officials made clear that railways and metro services, bus services and UP state transportation will be restricted. People coming from other states are also being quarantined.
