For weddings that call for grandeur, Regalia offers palatial, destination-style feels in Lucknow

Indians are known for taking their celebrations very seriously and weddings are where we really go all out. For us, they are the mother of all celebrations. That’s why the appeal of a destination wedding is easy to understand. You get sprawling lawns, water features and that holiday mood. The tricky part is getting hundreds of guests to another city. That is where staying local sounds clever.

Regalia Greens opened its doors in November last year. Since then, the property has hosted almost 40 weddings. The reason is simple. Read on and you’ll see why.

Space is the main draw here, though you do not need a plane ticket to find a holiday aesthetic. The layout relies on a green environment to mimic an out-of-town getaway. Plentiful water features and lush surroundings do the heavy lifting, giving the property a open atmosphere right from the start.

The grounds are split into two massive lawns. The Imperial Grand covers 85,000 square feet, complete with attached rooms, decorative trees and fountains. The Fountain Arena stretches across 125,000 square feet and features a huge central fountain built around the main stage. Crucially, the setup is flexible. You can easily book a smaller section of the area to suit your exact guest count.

Looks aside, a venue has to actually work on the day. The management offers a range of budget-friendly options to suit different scales of celebration. All decor is handled in-house. That crosses one major task off the planning list. The catering delivers the rich, decadent food that North Indian guests expect.

Practically speaking, there is also parking for 700 cars. That alone is enough to keep your guests smiling before the party even starts.
