Incentive schemes for vaccinated citizens are being executed to encourage non-vaccinated individuals to take the jab.
After a long halt stretching over a period of 70 days, gyms have been permitted to restart operations at 50% capacity for inoculated members across Lucknow and other districts of Uttar Pradesh from today onwards. With the revival of these facilities, the center-owners and officials are deploying stringent measures to mitigate the possibilities of an accentuated spread of the virus. Further, incentive schemes for vaccinated citizens are also being executed to encourage non-vaccinated people to take the jab.
Limited slots available at the gyms to prevent crowding
Speaking to Knocksense, General Secretary of Uttar Pradesh Body Building Association, Vishwas Rao affirmed that all members of the group have been instructed to operate at 50% capacity. Besides, he affirmed that all gym owners, trainers and other workers have been asked to get inoculated at the earliest. Given the uncertain circumstances, it is important to assure the safety of gym members besides safeguarding owners, coaches, fitness trainers and other individuals. In view of this, strict and ensured adherence to the protocols laid by the government is the most important step.
Additionally, there is a provision of limited slots at the gym facilities in a bid to prevent crowding. Members will be given an alternative to chose their slot, so that a controlled count of visitors are present in the gym, at any time. Further, gym authorities have also been directed to offer special benefits like discounts to the inoculated patrons.
Halls & multiplexes to resume operations from July 20
Multiplexes, gyms & stadiums to reopen across Lucknow & other UP districts from July 5! www.knocksense.com
Ashish Agarwal, President of UP Cinema Exhibitors Federation and owner of INOX cinema has affirmed that the preparations are underway to reopen the facilities. It is expected that the cinema halls and multiplexes will reopen by July 20.
Notably, the resumption of these facilities has been deterred by the absence of new releases and the curtailed night shows due to night curfews. Further, the weekend curfews are also an impediment to smooth business. Devendra Pratap Singh, Deputy Manager, Fun Republic Mall asserted that the visitors will be asked to assure COVID appropriate behaviour and the pandemic protocols will be followed meticulously once the facilities revive.
