Heralding a colourful winter, NBRI’s Crysanthemum & Coleus Show to return to Lucknow in December

Full of flowers, fragrance, freshness and fun, the Crysanthemum & Coleus Show by CSIR-National Botanical Research Institute (NBRI) is renowned in the city for bringing a tranquil wave of aroma annually to Lucknowites. And you can rest assured you that the OG show, which is making a comeback after 2 years due to the pandemic, will be better than ever this year.

Welcome a colourful winter this year by visiting this exhibition that’s been taking place gloriously for more than 50 years.

The flower show is back!

The Chief Scientist at CSIR-NBRI, Dr SK Tewari, took to Twitter to announce the arrival of the annual flower show in Lucknow. “The main objective of the flower shows is to promote interest among garden lovers, progressive farmers, connoisseurs, and general public towards the cultivation of ornamental plants,” he expressed.

Rows of fragrant and beautiful flowers exhibited in a garden for you to appreciate and admire, capture in panoramic photographs, and breathe in the purest air possible rn amidst lush greenery — well, that’s the city’s flower show for you!

Taking place at the Botanical Garden, the flower show awaits you this December. Take along the nature admirer in you or the flower enthusiast and return home with memories of a good day!
