Tejas Express, which is the newest addition to the fleet of the Indian Railways is actually the first train in the network to be run by a private player. Features of the train
The train is expected to have world class facilities that can rival any aircraft. For one, the chair car in Tejas Express has plush, wide seats that will make your journey a breeze. Details of the train
As for the trains themselves, there will be two which will ply between Lucknow and Delhi- train number 12585 and 12586. Though there is no shortage of trains, along this route, the new one will come as a boon for those that have to regularly commute between these two places and not spend a bomb on air tickets.
The trains will run everyday from 6:50 AM in Lucknow and 3:35 PM from Delhi. Since the trains have all the facilities one would want, you don’t even miss the aircrafts.
