Moved by such concerns, a man from Lucknow has devised an innovative solution for all his similar worries. According to reports, a deaf and blind dog in the city was gifted a new way of living his life after his caretaker developed a robot to look after him. Milind Raj, a tech-buff from the city sheltered the dog in his home during the COVID-induced lockdown. Now, the robot feeds and monitors the dog when he is not around.

As per reports, Milind told that he found the dog when the COVID cases were accelerating the fastest. After bringing the dog to his home, he took him to a veterinarian who informed him about the disabilities of the dog. Learning that the dog is deaf and blind, Milind thought of inventing a companion that would look after him when he is not around. Now, the robot feeds the dog besides monitoring his activities.
An inhabitant of Gomti Nagar, Milind Raj carries a great passion for artificial intelligence. This is not the first time that the robot enthusiast has exercised his technological creativity. In the past, he had produced a drone sanitiser that had the capacity to carry about 7 to 10 litres of disinfectant with operational mobility to remote locations.
A number of facilities are available for dogs with disabilities around the globe. While walkers and wheelchairs are used often, it is seen that specialised equipment is also available for physically unsound dogs, ensuring a better quality of life for them.
