Apple is set to unveil its latest products at a keynote event on Monday, September 9. The new iPhone 16 lineup is expected to include four models: iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max, all of which will be revealed during the Apple Event 2024 next month.
Three new Vande Bharat Express trains flagged off
India’s Prime Minister inaugurated three new Vande Bharat Express trains on Saturday, August 31, via video conferencing. The trains will enhance connectivity on the Meerut-Lucknow, Madurai-Bengaluru, and Chennai-Nagercoil routes, strengthening transportation links in Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka.
These additions bring the total number of operational Vande Bharat Express trains to over 100, connecting more than 280 districts.

SHe-Box portal launched for workplace harassment complaints
The Union Ministry of Women and Child Development has launched the SHe-Box portal, a centralised platform for registering and monitoring workplace sexual harassment complaints. The portal enables real-time tracking through a designated nodal officer.
For private institutions, an internal committee will be formed, while government institutions will have a local committee chaired by the District Magistrate (DM), Deputy Commissioner (DC), or an appointed officer.

Andhra Pradesh on high alert due to continuous rains
