Indian Army's Agniveer recruitment rally in Lucknow from February 6
The Indian Army is set to host a major 15-day Agniveer recruitment rally at the AMC Stadium in Lucknow Cantonment, starting February 6. With over 13,000 candidates from 13 districts of Uttar Pradesh, including Lucknow, Kanpur, and Barabanki, vying for a spot in the forces, this marks the sixth such rally in the state. Aspiring Agniveers will compete for roles in General Duty, Technical, Clerk/Store Keeper Technical, and Tradesman categories.
Only CEE-qualified candidates eligible
The rally is for candidates who have already cleared the online Common Entrance Exam held last July. Separate days are allotted for different roles like, General Duty, Technical, and Clerk posts, with a detailed schedule released for various districts. “Four days are reserved for finalising candidates after the rally,” said Defence PRO Dwarika Prasad.
Army officials have a clear message: come prepared and play fair. Candidates must practice their runs and physical tests, bring original documents, and report on time as per their admit card. They are strongly warned against touts, with assurances that the process is transparent and merit-based. Anyone with issues should contact the Recruiting Office in Lucknow beforehand to avoid last-minute trouble.
