Indian Railways adds trains for holiday season influx, connecting UP cities with various states

In a bid to accommodate the surge in passenger traffic during the upcoming summer holiday season, Indian Railways has introduced seven new trains. These trains will operate on various routes via Kanpur Central and other key cities in Uttar Pradesh.

The newly operational trains offer connectivity to major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, and Patna.

Here's the comprehensive schedule for summer special trains:

  • Train no. 02351/02352 offers connectivity between Delhi's Anand Vihar Terminal and Patna via Prayagraj, serving several key cities in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar.

  • Train no. 03635/03636 connects Anand Vihar to Gaya in Bihar via Kanpur Central.

  • A special train, no. 04061/04062, links Anand Vihar to Barauni in Bihar through Kanpur Central.

  • For commuters traveling between Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and Telangana, train no. 05303/05304 operates from Gorakhpur to Mahbubnagar in Telangana via Kanpur and Bhopal.

  • Train no. 05053/05054 connects Gorakhpur to Mumbai's Bandra Terminal, bridging several cities across Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, and Maharashtra.

  • Trains no. 05045/05046 run between Lalkuan in Uttarakhand and Rajkot in Gujarat via Kanpur.

  • Train no. 05193/05194 offers service from Chhapra in Bihar to Mumbai, passing through Uttar Pradesh cities including Varanasi.

These festive special trains, some of which have been operational since Holi, will continue to run throughout the summer holidays. Reservations for these trains are now open on the IRCTC website and through offline channels.
