The 81st edition of the Indian Road Congress event is currently underway at the Indira Gandhi Pratishthaan in Lucknow. The event began on October 8 and will go on till October 11. More than 1500 delegates from India and abroad are taking part in the event. Owing to the same, vehicular traffic will be diverted on certain routes in Lucknow, including Hazratganj, Charbagh and Nishatganj.
The event starts everyday at 4 pm and as per DCP Rayees Akhtar traffic diversions will be in place on certain routes leading to the venue, in the evening hours only.

On the account of Indian Road Congress, a Facade Light Show has been organized at the Vidhan Bhawan, due to which all the nearby routes will observe traffic diversions.
Here is a list of all roads and passages that will remain impacted during the event till Oct 11. Alternate routes and diversions have also been listed in lieu of the same:

No vehicle will not be permitted in the stretch between Charbagh Crossing and Vidhan Bhawan. Heavy vehicles can take a right from KKC and head towards Lucknow Cantt. route.

Similarly, small vehicles coming from Charbagh can take a right from Royal hotel to the Sisendi trisection.

No traffic movement will be permitted between Nishatganj and VS Marg; heavy vehicles will be diverted towards Baikunth Dham from Sankalp Vatika, leading to 1090 crossing.

Small vehicles heading from Nishatganj to Vidhan Bhawan will also be diverted left towards DSO crossing leading to the Royal Hotel area.
