Each of the aforesaid routes will get 6 buses each, easing intra-city commute for the local dwellers and nearly 8,000 to 10,000 passengers will be advantaged from this project. Taking four rounds daily, the buses will boost the local transport infrastructure in the city.
Smart MST cards to issued by the city authority

The city transport officials have also initiated preparations for issuing MST cards, in the form of smart cards instead of monthly tickets. Additionally, the trial run of electric buses has been initiated in Lucknow and if the pilot project reaps successful results, the electric vehicles will reform the public transport system completely.
