The day-care admissions at KGMU in Lucknow have become a whole lot easier now! Patients undergoing therapies for cancer, dialysis or other intra-day procedures who need a few hours of hospitalisation will not have to worry about the hectic discharge process. As per officials at King George Medical University with new changes in the software, such patients will be discharged automatically by the end of the day.
Reportedly, the administration has allotted 78 beds across 12 different wards for the same. The authorities at KGMU have taken this step to facilitate day-care admissions and ensure that the entire process becomes hassle-free.
