The film industry is steadily getting a grip back on work and since its resumption, there have been an array of exciting announcements about new films and shootings. One of the films out of this lot, which has our attention is 14 Phere, featuring Kriti Kharbanda and Vikrant Massey. For its shoot, the production team has currently chosen Lucknow and the cast and crew have been here in the city, since the 4th of December. This upcoming rom-com was announced back in August and is now slated to be released next year on the 9th of July.
Along with Lucknow, the film is said to be shot in Mumbai, Jaipur & Delhi
Directed by Devanshu Singh and written by Manoj Kalwani, 14 Phere is a story about how, in India, marriage is not just between two people, but between two families. As per reports, Vikrant and Kriti attended workshops during the lockdown to prep for the film and Kriti has even been working on her voice modulations to suit her character. Along with Lucknow, the film is said to be shot in Mumbai, Jaipur and Delhi. The supporting cast of the movie consists of Vinay Pathak, Gauahar Khan, Vineet Kumar, Govind Pandey, and Yamini Das.
The cast and crew will also be stringently following all the guidelines and mandates set by the government to maintain safety standards amid pandemic.

In the past few years, Lucknow has become increasingly popular with the Bollywood fraternity, with big shots from the industry coming in for the shoots of prominent movies and series. Previously, Lucknow has been a ground for pieces like Gulaabo Sitabo, A Suitable Boy, Rangbaaz, Umrao Jaan, Raid, Jolly LLB 2 and the list simply goes on.
