Lucknow Municipal Corporation is working on an innovative scheme to install number plates with unique IDs in households across the city. As per sources, this project will be implemented in multiple localities, where Geographic Information System(GIS) surveys have been concluded, which includes the areas of Gomti Nagar and Indira Nagar. These unique IDs shall be linked to a database of extensive information, including the status of tax deposition, stored on a virtual platform.

17 digit number coupled with QR code to give comprehensive information

Being launched with an objective to ensure regulated tax collection, this project entails that sufficient data regarding the home shall be linked with the unique ID accorded to it.
