It's a digital upgrade for LDA!

In a major digitisation move, the Lucknow Development Authority has sourced Uttar Pradesh Electronics to implement the e-office system across headquarters and zonal offices. This will be a transparent and secure office network that will avert all chances of data theft and corruption. The system will also pave the way to install a way to check employees accountability, added reports.

Keeping up with the present Information Age, the Lucknow Development Authority has decided to go digital with a new e-office system. The move, notably, will procure maximum security of public records and avert the chances of files getting lost or destroyed. In addition to that, it will also help the LDA go paperless and operate in an environment-friendly manner.

While the LDA has been long planning to create a cyber-safe portal for its record date files, the final decision was taken on Saturday. The discussion concluded with the LDA and UPEC officials agreeing to set up the integrated network. All development authority employees have been requested to submit their digital signatures to progress the admin project.

As per the plan of action, the network will link various sections of the LDA, including the department of revenue, commercial, public relations and map approval, among others. The VC has directed UPEC to train two officials of each section as master trainers of the new system. This will ensure hiccup-free operations once the project is completed, added reports.
