Late night parties sound great, but have you ever wanted to dive into an array of classic Awadhi food, hands deep in the curry, and a plate of fresh biryani on the side? Well, you’re in luck, Lucknowites! The LDA, in association with FSDA, has decided to set up a Nightlife Chowpatty at the Riverfront, every day from 6 PM to 11 PM, ending your cravings- the Nawabi way. The proposal for this Rs 1 crore project has been drafted and clearance is expected soon.

Fusing the best of authentic Awadhi cuisine with FSDA approved sanitation, hygiene and safety measures, the Lucknow Nightlife Chowpatty is every foodie’s dream come true.
This street-vending zone will be a grand show of Lucknow’s response to the ‘Eat Right Challenge’ this year. It may be noted that the city ranked at number 5 in 2021, and this upcoming chowpatty is a chance to do better.
As per the plan of action, a total of 18 special carts, in addition to the LDA’s permanent 12 food stalls, will be set up here. The food zone will bring 50 vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes from Awadhi cuisine and local flavours for all.
Besides food, the set up will also feature camel rides, puppet dance shows and other means of entertainment. Arrangements for clean drinking water and clean toilets will also be made for the audience.
