Nazwazuddin Siddique was all praises for Lucknow after he recently wrapped up the start-to-finish schedule of his Bollywood next, ‘Jogira Sara Ra Ra!’ here. The film has been penned by Ghalib Asad Bhopali as a tale of two quirky people in love and has been majorly shot in Lucknow and old city of Varanasi. Actor Neha Sharma will be seen alongside Nawazuddin Siddique in this light-hearted romantic movie, which is expected to release theatrically in the second half of 2021.
Lucknow has gor new B-town fans!
“Jogira Sara Ra Ra!” has successfully and safely managed to complete its principal photography and shoot in Lucknow and Varanasi and the state’s capital hospitality, despite the raging coronavirus scare, has fetched it some new fans. “I am happy that we finished the shoot without any hassle. It is important to be safe in these challenging times. With the pandemic around, shooting a film was different for sure but Lucknow has been an amazing host and I enjoyed shooting the film there,” Nawazuddin said.
Director Kushan Nandy also said, “With Covid around, it was challenging. I am relieved that with precautions and safety measures, we have managed to complete the film without any setback.”
The first schedule of the movie began on February 27, 2021 and it showcases Nawaz and Neha in leading roles along with Sanjay Mishra and Mahaakshay Chakraborty as the supporting cast. Barring the songs, the cast and crew have completed the shoot here as planned.
