Yesterday, morning many people complained of breathing problem in the city. A resident of Hazratganj, Sanjay said, “I’m unable to go for morning walk since last 5 days due to air pollution in the city. Yesterday, I thought of using a mask for my morning walk. However, I started feeling irritation in my eyes and I came back home.”

People in the city are demanding the government to stop all construction work in city, including metro, which is becoming a major source of dust in the air.

Administration, on the other hand, is planning to ban all diesel vehicles older than 10 years in Lucknow, if the level of air pollution doesn’t improve in the coming days.
