Lucknow hits 27.7°C on Wednesday; above-normal temperature to continue today!

The city is experiencing a warm winter, with temperatures staying above the usual range. On Wednesday, the city saw a maximum of 27.7°C, 5.7°C higher than normal, while the minimum was 10.5°C, 3°C above average. The pleasant weather is expected to continue today, with a high of 27°C and a low of 13°C.

As per the meteorological department, a western disturbance over the Himalayas has blocked cold winds from reaching the plains, while easterly winds have cleared skies, bringing bright sunshine and higher temperatures. However, relief from this unseasonal warmth is on the way. The western disturbance will fizzle out by Friday, reviving cold winds. Temperatures are expected to drop gradually, returning to normal by Monday. Meanwhile, Lucknow’s air quality remains moderate at an AQI of 100.
