In the business for 4 generations, the Kake flavours have remained unaltered and authentic, sprinkled with homegrown spices, bringing out the taste of North India, in each bite.
And now, to serve this excellence of hearty flavours to the Nawabs of Lucknow, the new outlet in Gomti Nagar is headed personally by the Delhi Team. All ingredients, masalas and recipes used in the kitchen here come all the way from Chandni Chowk, bringing you a lip-smacking palate, each time.

From a luxury dine-in set-up, washed in the glow of golden overhead lamps and a spacious table set up, Kake di Hatti is giving competition to any other fine-dine restaurant, and guess what? It is winning it all! A vertical garden, a chic mocktail and shakes bar and vintage yellow bulbs add up to magnify its warm ambience, luring us in to spend our winter evenings here.
The new outlet has packed in a lot more with the latest additions to its menu. The new a-la-carte menu is as long as their legacy and besides the iconic daal tadka and smoky tandoor selects, you’ll find a host of Chinese and Italian foods on offer as well. And if that’s not it, their new recipes – Mughlai Paneer, Patiala Paneer and Amritsari Tawa Paneer – curated exclusively for the Lucknow branch are sure to hook the Awadhi food fan in you.
Roti, Tadka aur Pakwaan
If you are someone who believes in the supremacy of a greasy and buttery meal, Kake Di Hatti is just the place for you. Our banquet here included the creamy goodness of the Malai Broccoli and a cool rendition of the popular daal makhani, called the Daal Makhi Shots. While these grubs tasted heavenly, those of you who are a fan of contemporary can also opt for Chole Kulche Pockets, a very Punjabi version of tortilla pockets.
Well, you can’t be sitting in this iconic place and not order the Kake Naan. But be careful, this 24 inches long bread is recorded to be the largest naan in the world – enough to feed an entire family. Our favourite here was the Chur Chur Naan and the Lacha Paratha but you get to choose your favourite from the 40 different types of bread on the menu.
To pack up our winter special meal, we had the rich Amritsari Tawa Paneer, Vegetable Zalfaregi, Chaas and a massive Kake Thali. A chill range of crafty drinks, including the Roohfaza on the Rocks, Unicorn Fizz, Blue Ocean and Electric Shock also made to the table. A sinfully special Chocolate Naan for dessert did the trick for us!
