The ten-day long celebration is back and this time the venue has shifted to Awadh Shilp Gram.
People will be enjoying Lucknow Mahotsav at the Awadh Shilp Gram near Shaheed Path this year. The grand festival of the city has already started, people couldn’t wait for the schedule to be out. Here is the list of all the activities and bustle that is going to take the city on a roll this time.
- 27 January – Bhojpuri Night with Ravi Kishan
- 28 January – Kavi Sammelan (Poetry) at the Hindi Sansthan
- 29 January – Mushaira at the Urdu Academy
- 30 January – Bhajan Sandhya with Agnihotri Bandhu
- 1 February – Bollywood night with Ankit Tiwari
- 2 February – Sufi night with Harshdeep Kaur
The fair has already started from the 24th with around 250 stalls in the premises that are going to entertain the public for the next 10 days. Also, in addition to this, the organisers are planning to add more stalls this year.

The public will also get to witness some performances by artists and talents from across the country. There are a lot of new things that have been added to the Lucknow Mahotsav this year and we can’t wait to see them.
According to the organisers, there is also going to be a separate parking for the public so that there is less commotion and people can enjoy themselves without getting stuck in the long traffic jams.
This year, a proper complex has been designated for food stalls. With proper dustbins and indoor seating, you can enjoy your favourite snacks without the worry of dust and flies.

Also, the most entertaining games section is just outside the Awadh Shilp Gram. Almost, all the rides, which were present in Lucknow Mahotsav in 2016 are present this year as well. We also heard that from 26th January, Lucknowites will also be able to enjoy Hot Air Balloon rides.
Another good thing about Mahotsav this year is washrooms for both Men and Women. Awadh Shilp Gram houses washroom in almost every complex. They are neat and clean and if maintained properly throughout the Mahotsav, then it can be of huge benefit for people.
