Lucknow Metro conducts a trial run on the new route from Charbagh to IT College

Considering the fact that the April 2019, has been decided as the month in which Lucknow metro will open for all, the work and trial runs are on in full swing. North-South corridor is already functioning, and the work on Hazratganj metro station has also been completed, the most recent trial run has taken place on the Nishatganj route, which means the work has majorly been completed in most areas.

The construction of Lucknow metro has taken place at a remarkable speed and the city folks are eagerly waiting for using the metro services in the city.

The work on the polytechnic crossing has also been completed and is likely to open by the year end. The Munshi Puliya metro station will be the more developed station as it will be equipped with radio towers to ensure proper connectivity of the metros and seamless communications with all active trains. LMRC has has already moved a clearance application by the Commissioner Railway Safety and will start testing the track, signalling and OHC work from next week or early January. Glasses and Ticket Office Machines have started being installed.

The infrastructural development in most of the stations in the corridor are complete with entries, exits and stairwells. Apart from that, the flooring work has picked up pace fast. In addition, track laying and electrical connection task is also on a fast track.
