Lucknow News | Kukrail Night Safari work to finally begin in April, know key highlights!
The development of Kukrail Night Safari and Adventure Park is finally set to commence this April. The Uttar Pradesh government plans to construct the project in phases across the expansive Kukrail Reserve Forest and the adjacent picnic spot, located near Lucknow city.
Some work has been in progress within the picnic spot area since last year, concerning the relocation of Lucknow Zoo. Reportedly, an estimated time of 24 months has been finalised for the completion of the first phase of the entire project.
Adventure and entertainment at its best!
The Phase 1 of the project will span 65,254 square meters across the forest area and feature a range of facilities. This will include a recreational activity zone, an administrative block, a 7D theatre, an art gallery, a grand entrance gate, a cafeteria, an animal hospital and residential quarters for staff.
One of the key highlights of the safari will be a dedicated tram service, with tracks laid throughout the premises. Additionally, the project will include essential infrastructure developments such as roads, footpaths, parking, and drainage systems. Other than that, the Kukrail Night Safari and Adventure Park will house 38 animal enclosures, providing a habitat for lions, tigers, leopards, bears, deer, and various reptiles and birds.
