Lucknow receives a new cancer hospital under the banner of Smart City project!

The Chief Minister also emphasized on the 100% geo-tagging of toilets constructed under PM Awas Yojana, CM Awas Yojana or Swacch Bharat Mission.

In an effort to speed up the Smart City project in Lucknow, on Friday the CM of Uttar Pradesh announced that Lucknow now has a new cancer hospital with top-notch amenities. The CM even proclaimed that the Union Defence Minister of India will shortly inaugurate this facility and a flyover too, while amidst the presence of public officials.

The Chief Minister received direct feedback

The CM issued these statements during a session of review pertaining to the developmental activities in Lucknow division, that includes places like Lucknow, Hardoi, Lakhimpur Kheri, Rae Bareli, Sitapur and Unnao district. This was done through a video conference. The CM even received direct feedback from the representatives, about the development works in their respective districts. In the conference, the CM of UP furthermore elaborately conveyed his commitment towards bringing forward the Tharu tribe of Lakhimpur into a conventional community.

It was mentioned that the huts of the tribes should be managed by women self-help groups. Moreover, according to the conversations, it is being reported that the sewerage and drinking water schemes will also be implemented soon so that people in the state can have access to safe drinking water. The Chief Minister also emphasized on the 100% geo-tagging of toilets constructed under PM Awas Yojana, CM Awas Yojana or Swacch Bharat Mission. It is being said that paddy purchase centres will also become operational from the 1st of October, 2020.

Speaking of the pandemic at hand with the concerned authorities, the CM further said, "One-third of the total COVID tests per day should be conducted through RT-PCR and the rest by Rapid Antigen method. The COVID positivity rate should be kept lower than 4 percent and death rate below 1 percent".
