Environmental Engineer Pankaj Bhushan informed that the installation work will be started soon, in a bid to upgrade the city's waste disposal infrastructure. Notably, each of the aforementioned intersections will have two bins- one green and one blue.
According to the available information, a two-meter wide and 7 feet deep pit will be dug and an iron container equipped with a hydraulic system will be inserted in it. After it is filled, the bin will be lifted by the municipal garbage vehicle with the help of a pipe. Additionally, it has been informed that garbage bins will be built in such a way, that it doesn't lead to any leakage during transportation.
While the administration is doing its bit for upgrading cleanliness in the city, it is equally important for the citizens to ensure the same. Also, besides ensuring our commitment towards this goal, we must also try to spread awareness about the same. When we are united in our efforts to preserve the city's surroundings, the dream of a progressive and developed future would assuredly turn into a sweet reality.
