The Sports Department in Lucknow has issued a new index of prices, to be charged for organising different sports events at K.D. Singh Babu Stadium and Chowk Stadium. According to the new rate list released in the name of the District Sports Development and Promotion Committee, an amount of ₹5,625 will be charged for conducting cricket matches at these grounds. Previously, a fee of ₹625 was charged for booking at these sports centres.
₹2,000 for booking Tennis Court, Badminton Court & Swimming Pool

Notably, the tariff has been increased by almost 10 times, as compared to the previous amount. Further, this fee is nearly double the sum, that is charged by other cricket grounds in the city. It has been informed that private schools, colleges, organisations and institutions will have to pay ₹5,625 for booking the stadium premises. Besides, a fee of ₹6,625 will be charged for bookings on Sundays or public holidays.
In addition to this, the charges have also been increased for other amenities housed at the aforesaid sports complexes. As per the new tally of prices, players will have to pay ₹2,000 for booking Tennis Court, Badminton Court and Swimming Pool. This amount will be raised to ₹3,000 on Sundays and public holidays.
₹25 to be charged for IDs

Additionally, the latest list states that ₹1,000 will be charged for the training of amateur players. Players of Tennis, Badminton and swimming, who are above the age of 18, will have to deposit ₹1,000 annually in the name of the Incentive Committee. They will also have to pay ₹200 as a monthly fee. Apart from this, every player will have to take an identity card by paying ₹25.
