Lucknow University hosts 30th annual conference of Indian Society of Biological Chemists

The University of Lucknow is currently hosting the 30th annual Indian Society of Biological Chemists (ISBC) conference, jointly organised by the ISBC and the Department of Chemistry, LU. This three-day conference was kicked off on Monday. This milestone event celebrated three decades since the conference's inception in Lucknow in 1995, with subsequent editions held in various cities across India.

The conference brings together eminent researchers and scientists from around the globe to exchange ideas and promote collaborative research in the interdisciplinary fields of biology, chemistry, and medicine. The event serves as a platform for fostering innovation and advancing knowledge in these critical areas.

On the inaugural day of the conference, the integration of ancient Indian medicine, particularly Ayurveda, into modern healthcare systems emerged as a key focus of discussion. Experts also explored the potential of incorporating cutting-edge molecular biology techniques to revolutionize healthcare practices.
