In a meeting presided by the Vice-Chancellor of the Lucknow University on Thursday, a decision to start classes for all Bachelors and Masters programmes offered by the varsity has been initiated. All lectures and classes of the University’s incoming batch of 2020, will be conducted following the Flip Classroom Model, from next week, in November.

Besides this decision, the committee also took constructive steps to elaborate on the marking systems of the postgraduate and undergraduate programmes as well as their final submission. The internal examinations in postgraduate programs totals at 30 marks. Out of these, 15 marks are allocated for an examination and 15 are designated to the academic participation of the student. Based on the mode of internal examination, which was selected by the various HODs on their free will (online/offline/presentation/assignment), instructions to submit these marks, according to the pattern were listed. The 15 marks allotted to the exam need to be submitted by November 30, 2020 and the remaining 15 for academic participation may be submitted by December 31, 2020.
Similarly, the internal examinations of undergraduate programmes total to 20 marks- 10 for presentation and 10 for academic presentation. The concerned department heads were instructed to submit the allotted marks for presentations by November 30, 2020 and the points allocated for academic participation by December 31, 2020.
