It’s a pack-up for the 19-day long second schedule of Saif Ali Khan’s upcoming silver screen project ‘Vikram Vedha’, that was being shot in Lucknow! A Bollywood adaption, Vikram Vedha is a Hindi Remake of the 2017 Tamil Film of the same name, starring R. Madhavan and Vijay Sethupathi. As per reports, Hrithik Roshan and Radhika Apte will also be seen alongside the Nawab of Pataudi in this Friday Filmworks feature, releasing in cinemas on September 30, 2022.

Lucknow has become home to several big banner productions and Saif Ali Khan’s next Bollywood venture, Vikram Vedha, is another addition to the long list. The film has successfully finished two schedules of the film, one in Abu Dhabi and the other one in Lucknow, pushing it closer to the final cut and the global theatrical release in 2022.
The Hindi remake is being helmed by the makers of the original Tamil film, including Pushkar-Gayathri and Neeraj Pandey to shape up a neo-noir action thriller production, based on the legendary Indian folklore ‘Vikram and Betaal’. The plot progresses to narrate the tale of a police officer who takes on to track and kill a gangster mafia.
This project is being produced by T-Series and Reliance Entertainment in association with Friday Filmworks and YNOT Studios. Chair and MD, T-Series, Producer Bhushan Kumar, said “The anticipation grows as the film shoot progresses. Hrithik and Saif on the big screen will be a sight to behold. This will undoubtedly be the most eagerly anticipated release of 2022.”
Producer Shibasish Sarkar also echoed his delight by stating “As we wrap up the second schedule of ‘Vikram Vedha’ we are happy that the film is proceeding as scheduled and in accordance with all government protocols. “Each completed schedule is another significant milestone for the film. I’m really looking forward to the film getting into excellent shape as it proceeds and releasing it to viewers all over the world.”
